I pursued my Masters degree in Computer Science from University of Illinois at Chicago. My area of interests/expertise are algorithms, object-oriented programming, database, data mining, script development, web development, application design & development and building secure systems.


In my leisure time I like to read (auto)biographies of inspirational people/Influencers or listen to their talks. I enjoy travelling to new places as well and meet people from different cultures as I feel they leave an imprint which helps in personal growth and enhances knowledge & understanding.

The Contact Management System (CMS) is an application based on Java and Java Applet which is supposed to store and manage basic details of employees associated with an organization. The Application also allows the user to maintain a directory of reminders & name it, such as 'Team Meeting' on 'some day' with 'some specific person'

Gmail User Agent or an email client for managing gmail is a desktop application which can be used to access and manage emails. The two most common examples of Email Clients are Mozilla Thunderbird, Microsoft Outlook. This java application supports only gmail and is connected with MySQL database, storing all the e-mails locally

A python implementation for a modified MS Apriori algorithm to find frequent itemsets from a given set of transaction data and parameters with certain constraints

This system provides an additional layer of security in the physical access of the secured areas. Owner (Head Librarian in this specific case of installation in my undergraduate college library) can grant/reject a person’s entry in secured area whenever a request is made from any geographic location in the form of a standard phone SMS

Aspect based sentiment analysis is the determination of sentiment orientation of different textual review or post based on the aspect terms associated with that review or post. Classification report is obtained for multiple ML and Neural Network Models on training dataset and the best among them is used for classification on test dataset.

Under certain set of assumptions the algorithm implemented merges the individual trip requests into 4-Pax, 3-Pax, 2-Pax trips & finds the remaining unmerged trips while considering the rider's social preferences. Evaluation is done in terms of distance savings under these considerations. A real spatio-temporal data collected from NYC TLC's website & a simulated dataset of rider's preferences was considered.

tack-it-up is a feature rich note-taking web application built on MEAN Stack. Supports secure sign-up, login/logout features, creating and deleting notes etc. Errors are handled efficiently while password encryption alongwwith token-ID management is in place to manage user accounts. For styling, Angular Material is used extensively.
